RMB began his music career in 98, dj'ing at 13. RMB gained experience by playing at parties and clubs around Johannesburg. He entered a Technics battle of the DJ's comp and came 1st. After this he got 3 residencies in Jo'burgs top nightclubs. At 17 he began learning music production and at 21 set up a full equiped Recording Studio. In 2004 his demo "Dreams" was sent to Chromium Records. This track was included in the UK unsigned Top 20 compilation CD, which was promoted to major record companies and Radio's. The following year RMB opened his own label Stereo FX. 2 Months on Shmuel Flash contacted him and signed off a remix deal for his track "RMB - This Time" which was played at WMC 07, supported by the Flash Brothers and Thomas Penton. The vinyl was released, successful in Northern Europe. Stereo FX grew rapidly in 2007, and in March 08 he hit no.1 in the myspace top 100 South African Progressive artists. RMB has had radio shows on Techno.fm and Global Beat.
